the experience
I try to keep sessions easygoing and flexible, without over-structuring or forcing moments. Rather than directing every move, I like to leave room for things to unfold naturally and follow the rhythm of your family. For documentary sessions especially, we can build the session around something you already enjoy doing together — cooking a meal, getting ice cream, playing a game, or spending a quiet moment at home. This approach keeps the experience relaxed and allows the images to feel genuine, lived-in, and true to who you are right now.
Planning
Before the session, we talk through timing, location, and what feels most natural for your family. If it’s a documentary session, we’ll choose a simple activity that fits into your day and helps everyone feel comfortable.
The session
Sessions are unhurried and low-pressure. I’ll guide gently when needed, but most of the time I’m observing and documenting what’s already happening — the interactions, small gestures, and in-between moments.
Gallery & prints
After the session, you’ll receive a curated online gallery of fully edited images. From there, you can download your photos and order prints directly, turning the images into something you can live with and return to over time.
